Wanted to share something that struck me as “interesting.” It’s along the lines of, why do we accept certain rituals and/or traditions without questioning? Are they all good? Do they still carry purpose or do they create separation and hurt? For instance, there’s this fence that divides Pakistan and India, and since 1959, there's been this daily border ceremony. It’s a stark reminder of how the British colonists escaped unscathed as the main perpetraters behind this division…South Asians celebrating their separation.
