Junoon performs in Kashmir, India

Strife-torn Indian Kashmir rocked to the beat of music of renowned Pakistani band Junoon for peace. The concert, biggest musical event in the disputed Kashmir region in nearly two decades, was held in Srinagar amid tight security and hosted by the South Asian Foundation for Srinagar University.

Sunny performed in Oslo, Norway for the Nobel Peace Prize concert with sufi-rock band, Junoon. Junoon is led by the Pakistani rock star, Salman Ahmad. This new incarnation of Junoon features Sunny handling the drumming chair and playing dhol, Pandit Samir Chatterjee on tabla, award-winning bassist Chris Tarry and Salman Ahmad on guitar and vocals. The concert also featured Alicia Keys, Earth, Wind & Fire, Annie Lennox, KT Tunstall, Melissa Etheridge, Kylie Minogue, Juanes and Morten Harket. 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Laureates are Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Accepting for the IPCC was Dr. Rajendra Pachauri.
